It begins in silence..

We lost most of our equipment on the first day, in a connecting flight. But we all managed to do it all in less than 3 hours with stills, drone, and main camera — what we were supposed to do in a 12-hour day. This is one of the most amazing locations I have filmed. The rough quarry with white marble, the beautiful ballet, and the music made for such a beautiful experience.

@mikaelakelly_ has created a duet for herself and @albanlendorf which will have its premiere on the top of a mountain in Italy. Not just any mountain – specifically the mountain which Michelangelo Buonarotti chose as the source for some of his eternal marble sculptures. Music by @alexmckenziemusic (performed alongside @jacob.la.cour ) and made possible with generous help by the brilliant friends at @henraux / @fondazionehenraux and of course our “home” festival in Italy @dap_festival . 

Thank you @adriaferrali & @bluenailgirl .. @jesperhgrand and his team at @nordiskfilmwill be joining us on the journey from first step of the creation and up onto the mountain.
