Oscar® nomination for The Look of Silence

We are deeply honored to announce that Joshua Oppenheimer’s “The Look of Silence” has just been named as one of the nominees for Best Documentary Feature at this year’s Academy Awards.

This is the first time in the history of The Oscars that an Indonesian film has been nominated. A great thank you to everyone involved in making the film!

Oppenheimer’s previous film “The Act of Killing”, a companion piece to “The Look of Silence”, was nominated for the Oscars in 2014.
